Philate.ly is a digital humanities project that is currently seed-funded under a special annual grant from Art Group Limited to promote digital transformation of the art market and collectors industry. Philate.ly will be partnering with postal administrations, university lab, retired engineers, philatelic scholars, collectors community, university students and researchers to develop new digital tools to support and sustain this hobby and industry. Philate.ly will need the community support to bring this goal to fruition. In future, our team will look into applying funding from within the research grants and technology funding available. Art Group Limited is a social enterprise founded by Dr. Daniel Chun who is a tech entrepreneur, an art curator and an interdisciplinary scholar ; who also happens to be an avid art and stamp collector. Daniel is currently a full time faculty at the Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Through this social enterprise company, Dr. Chun has developed a number of digital platform that creates impact while promoting awareness of art provenance, metadata standard, authenticity and online identities of stamps, art work and artists.

OPENHEART.hk – a revolutionary silent and pledging auction platform for charities in fundraising (Since 2011) and have helped over 700 charities fundraising events from Shanghai to Singapore.
